Scott Beauchamp is the current Policy Director for Friends of the Boundary Waters Wilderness, where he leads legislative efforts to permanently protect the Boundary Waters form sulfide mining and other threats.

With limitless opportunities for exploration and some of the cleanest water in the country, the Boundary Waters is a national treasure.
But proposed copper-sulfide mining threatens to pollute these pristine waterways.
