National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS)    Booth: 35

Founded in 1965 by legendary mountaineer Paul Petzoldt, NOLS takes students of all ages on remote wilderness expeditions and teaches them technical outdoor skills, leadership, and environmental ethics.  We offer courses from ten days to a full semester in the world's most spectacular wilderness classrooms.

Northern Lakes Girl Scout Canoe Base    Booth: 44

Located 20 miles east of Ely, MN, just a short paddle from the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, this wilderness tripping camp offers completely outfitted canoe trips.  Girls ages 12-18 -- and adults -- come on 3, 5, 7, and 10 day canoe trips.  Participants come from Minnesota, Wisconsin, and throughout the United States.

Northstar Canoes

Northstar Canoes was born of obsession.  Founder Ted Bell's love of canoeing spans decades, continents and companies.  A former champion racer and builder extrordinaire, Ted knows precisely what makes an enthusiast's heart pound.  Today, after a 6-year hiatus, he's back to producing the finest composite canoes ever made.

Rapids Riders seeks to promote the responsible enjoyment of whitewater canoeing and kayaking.  We provide American Canoe Association (ACA) certified instruction; coordinate informational activities and competitions; work with local agencies and private concerns to promote river stewardship and ensure the future of whitewater paddlesports in the upper Midwest.

Member supported non-profit organization whose mission is to provide the human and financial resources to build, promote, maintain, protect and preserve a hiking trail along the ridgeline of the North Shore of Lake Superior.

Three Rivers Park District

Each of the Park District's facilities has watersheds that flow into three rivers: the Mississippi, Minnesota and Crow.  The Park District was created in 1957.  Since then, it has grown to encompass over 27,000 acres of parks and trails and serves over 10 million visitors annually.
